Robert Douwes

The founder of Green Vets is Rob Douwes, a veterinary surgeon with over 25 years of experience.
Rob has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1997, of which more than 14 years here in York. He was surgical lead and Director at Tower Vets until 2017 when the practice ceased to be an independent business.
Rob holds a post-graduate certificate in small animal surgery and has extensive experience in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
After a short period of working away, he has returned to York to open Green Vets in 2019.
