Rob Douwes

Green Vets was founded by Rob Douwes, a veterinary surgeon with over 25 years of experience.
Rob has practised veterinary medicine since 1997, with more than 15 years in York. He was surgical lead and Director at Tower Vets until 2017, when the practice ceased to be independent.
Rob holds a postgraduate certificate in small animal surgery and has extensive experience in soft tissue surgery, with an interest in orthopaedics. After a short period of working away, he returned to York to open Green Vets in 2019.
