Following the Prime Minister’s address on Monday 23rd March, we have implemented with immediate effect the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons’ (RCVS) advice that veterinary practices must reduce face-to-face contact, switching to providing emergency care only and fulfillment of urgent prescriptions.
Please ring the surgery on 01904 393 393 if you have any concerns about your pet. We are still available 24/7 for advice. We can often help by discussing your pet’s need over the phone and decide if they need to be seen or if medication can be dispensed. In some cases, where immediate action is necessary in the interest of animal welfare it is essential that a physical examination of your pet needs to take place. Our vets have the knowledge and skills to make this assessment and act in your pet’s best interest. Even during this crisis, we will never abandon an animal in need.
